Service Saturday Volunteer

Helped out at several of the Service Saturdays that were held during the past couple of years working at Good Samaritan, cleaning up the Friendship Center, and working to complete Centennial Park.

Paint the Town Pink Volunteer

Helped put to set up and serve at the dinner auction for the Paint the Town Pink event held at the Civic Center. This event was raising funds to provide financial support for single unwed mothers and their children.

Bellevue Hospital

Patient Advocate

Worked in the Emergency Department to serve the patients that would come in from all walks of life to assist their in their care. This could manifest itself through the providing of water, a snack, or simple conversation to help them past the time and to calm their concerns about being in the hospital. Assisted the nurses and doctors in any manner that they needed whether it be to transport a patient to get an x-Ray or to drop off blood samples.


St. Cyril's and Methodius Catholic Church

Teaching middle schoolers about the Catholic faith and engaging them to feel comfortable to talk about their faith and any questions that they have about Catholicism.

Worked with the general biology students to assist them in the completion of their weekly lab assignments and to answer any questions they might have. Helping the lab professor to correct lecture exams several times throughout the semester.

Assistant Creative Director

Worked in a children's science museum assisting in the set-up and taking down of special events at museum. Helped creative director to develop programming for special events. Recruited volunteers from college to help out with special events. Developed a program for a Saturday Special in which I led a class on the anatomical eye and led a cow eye dissection.
