Led and contributed to testing initiatives for a variety of clients, including Microsoft and the US government. Specialized in manual exploratory testing techniques as well as traditional test case development and execution methods. Developed “Session-Based Testing Lite” methodology based on the work Jon and James Bach. Presented it at CAST 2007.
Building user experience prototypes for Kindle.
Startup game development studio initiative. Completed two prototypes of the unique music game “Sen” and published to Kongregate.com. Also contributed code to client indie game projects.
Shipped eight major versions of Unity, including Windows and Mobile ports. Owned and built Testing, Support, and Documentation initiatives. Interim producer for Unity 3.0. Raised the quality bar. Created the Unity Awards. Presented at GDC, Unite, and Nordic Game Jam.
Cut my teeth on testing. Started as the solo functional tester on the Xbox Compliance Team before the original Xbox launched. Promoted to Compliance Test Engineer within two months, executing TCR verification testing. I was able to test broadly, gaining experience in all areas of Compliance testing. Eventually I was appointed as lead A/V tester, and trained new testers as the team expanded.
