November 2012 — Present
Helping clients Navigating Uncertainty to build, verify and track their Readiness capabilities by implementing world class processes, systems and culture in risk, crisis and business continuity management.
Working as a consultant means to delivery, lead and sell, i.e. participate in and contribute to the result of projects, managing projects and contribute to product development and methodology, and managing and developing existing accounts and developing new ones.
I've participated in and managed a range of projects of various nature. I've also worked with product development and improvements in methodology and internal processes.
Projects range from single-day workshops, training sessions and exercises to year-long implementation projects in within the fields of risk, crisis and business continuity management (BCM) as well as societal security, civil contingency, GRC, IT disaster recovery, manufacturing resiliency and critical infrastructure protection.
Counterparts are usually middle-management or executives, considering the strategic nature of the issues we're addressing, such as developing strategies and policies, defining business critical processes or developing enterprise risk management frameworks. On the other hand, participants of workshops, training and exercise sessions aren't seldom employees of these organisations.
Clients have been small utilities and manufacturing companies, central government agencies, municipalities, administrative county boards as well as multinational corporations in the telecom, finance and energy sectors.
