Senior National Account Manager - Sam's Club

Responsible for the development and implementation of annual spirits & wine customer plans for Sam’s Club and Walmart. Maximize performance for Diageo spirits & wine brands within Sam’s Club and Walmart through execution of priority sales drivers, including promotion, distribution, visibility, etc. Lead and manage the direct link between Diageo and the buying teams. Coordinate spirits/wine planning & initiatives with the local Diageo business units and key wholesaler partners.

Strategic Planning
Design and develop customized annual plans that utilize priority sales drivers to deliver Diageo financial and volume targets. The spirits & wine annual plans will include brand level sales and marketing activity with extensive coordination between the buying team and distributors.

Financial Management
Manage Sam’s Club and Walmart spirits & wine A&P spends, ensuring budgets are strategically aligned with brand and customer strategies and delivering ROI targets. Lead communication with local business units to ensure alignment between Sam’s Club and Walmart A&P spends and existing local spends.

Account Management
Responsible for a multitude of Sales activities, including but not limited to the following:

Principle point of contact for Diageo’s spirits & wine portfolio for Sam’s Club and Walmart.
• Building club and store channel programs and planning calendar for pos merchandise events.
• Collaborate with local agency and CP&A to develop program pos to secure secondary placement in clubs and stores.
• Build upon local MIR opportunities to gain buyer approval and operation support for secondary pallet placement in clubs and stores.
• Identify alternative solutions to bring gaps in brand performance through the development of value added packs in partnership with CP&A and supply chain.

The mission of The Big Bamboo SUP is to promote, support, and develop a paddleboard community in Northwest Arkansas while also providing accessibility and training for achieving proper paddling technique.

A traditional Polynesian practice, paddleboarding gained popularity in Hawaii during the 1940's providing a unique twist on surfing for training days when surfers did not have access to gnarly waves to ride. The sport called SUP for short, over the past decade, has won over a much wider following as word has spread that a wide, stable board and a paddle make it possible to traverse long distances while getting one heck of a core workout. Plus, unlike surfing, anyone can do it.

Individuals stand, kneel or sit on a large surfboard-like board and use a long paddle to maintain balance and direct the board through the water. While paddleboarding alone delivers an intense aerobic workout, performing exercises on the board can further strengthen the body, forcing the targeted muscles to work extra hard to stablize on the waters unsteady surface. Athletes from a variety of other sports use paddleboarding to stay in shape during their off season.
