Manage supplier performance including scorecards, internal metrics and inventory control. Ensure supply chain process is accountable for meeting continuous improvement initiatives including OTD, Quality, Inventory, lead-time reduction, and flexibility to schedules.
•Key member for the transition of the supply chain operations from the Alabama facility to the California facility. Identified parameters, sourcing rules, quotations, and other data management processes for new facility.
•Negotiated with suppliers to stock materials within 24-hour delivery of plant locations with no added cost, improving plant on-time shipping performance from 80% to 97%.
•Prepared RFQ/RFP’s and analyzes bid proposals consistent with purchasing policies and procedures.
•Supply chain optimization: Streamlined order/Inventory management, implemented lean order/planning methodology (Kanban, Pull, Point of Use Inventory). Resulted in more than 30% reductions of both process and material related costs
