Marketing and Trading of fruit into the Middle East
Trading within account limits as well as the costing of deals for the Middle East.
Assist the Trading Manager and Market Manager with the pre- season demand plan for allocated markets and programmes
Assist with the procurement of fruit for trading deals
Ensure that the trade terms and documentation database are set up per customer (System Readiness) and that sufficient contracts and SLA’s are on the data base to back up agreements
Ongoing programme management (packing accuracy) for allocated customers focusing on weekly packaging plan and weekly shipping plan as agreed with customers
Monitor packing for specific markets and programmes as requested
Prepare forecasting plan for container booking and inform Logistics
Coordinate loading of fruit in collaboration with Logistics and inform Vessel Planner
Create loading instructions for execution by Vessel Planner
Assist with specking and loading of containers
Distribute client packing list in their specific format
Monitor that documentation are received timeously and correctly formatted according to database of clients
Match estimates to container availability and inform Vessel Planner
Ensure receiver registration on Capespan systems
Check, track and verify receipt of all QC reports from clients and divisional reporting on claims
Claim management of allocated customers according to policy guidelines
Financial management of accounts in conjunction with finance including trade within defined credit limits and timeous payment by customer within defined payment terms.
Assist the Trading Manager and Market Manager with the generation of invoices, liaison with finance and distribution to customers.
Assist the Trading Manager and Market Manager with the reporting in terms of divisional account receivables and liaison with customers in terms of overdue payments.
