Companywide responsibility for the production, development, and overall management of the company’s niche practice groups, as well as his own specialized expertise and programs. He will be working with key carrier and wholesale markets to put together special programs and/or special incentives where we have the combined premium volume to leverage those kinds of opportunities, and he will also be participating in the team sales process for our largest accounts, as well as producing his own book of business.

Some of the specialized programs or types of client experience include Automotive, Aviation, Large or Complex Construction accounts (OCIP/CCIP), Commercial and Habitational Real Estate, Garment Manufacturers & Retailers, Import/Distributors, Transportation, Healthcare/ Social Services, High Technology, Hospitality & Leisure, and High Net Worth/Business Management, among others.

Working closely with the Executive VP and CEO, and based in our Woodland Hills Headquarters location.

• Coordinated and assisted in the negotiation, design and implementation of a new Group Benefits plan for a large client reducing their single year, 42 state fixed premiums from $1,700,000 to $925,000.
• Successfully developed a $4.5B OCIP Project through primary investment banker and CFO contacts, Xxxxxxxxx Xxxx Convention Center in Las Vegas. Project was implemented, fully funded, property acquired as planned and ground breaking was forthcoming, but it became entangled in the Lehman Brothers failure, who was a $250M investor who had acquired the physical property site.

• Successfully negotiated and designed a reduction in a large clients overall 48 state WC premium expense, in a single year, from over $4,500,000 to less than $2,100,000, while maintaining a nearly unchanged brokerage revenue level and improving the Risk Management and Loss Control Services being provided. Because of the savings provided, the client was able to avoid filing for bankruptcy and continue operations as normal.

• As Department Marketing Executive, responsible for managing and directing all marketing and carrier negotiations and relationships on all department renewal business, by supervising three marketing representatives and assistants, with monthly marketing meetings with producers and account executives.
• Elected committee Chairman of "Proposals & Other Client Communications Committee” and directed the standardization of proposal and other client communication procedures for the Los Angeles office.
• Appointed as a member of the LA Office Account Review Committee for E&O Prevention and Underwriting Audit, performing management level account and unit review audits, preparing and delivering findings and recommendations to Office Head. Once a course of action was determined based on recommendations, was involved in any staff re-training and/or new procedure introduction.
