Integrating 21st Century technologies into the curriculum to make communication instruction applicable to themodern world, namely Edublogs.
Adapting curricular materials to accommodate students with different learning styles and needs.
Adapting curricular materials to accommodate students with a first language other than English.
Evaluate and assess students, in formative and summative ways, for progress through written and oral work.
Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student academic and behavioural progress.
Collaborate with parents and teachers regarding strategies to assist in the academic, social and emotional success of students.
Collaborate with teachers in the learning resource centre as to progress, successes and further strategies for students with learning needs and language barriers.
Liaise with counselors and staff in regard to students academically, socially and emotionally at risk.
Participating in literacy learning teams, workshops and conferences, including district wide on-going formative assessments.
