Performed duties as Human Resources (HR) Representative.
Manage personnel files for all employees.
Provide mediation support between employees and management.
Interview new and existing employees for positions within the department.
Draft emails to the department regarding upcoming and/or current changes.
Provide support to employees regarding payroll and benefits.

Act as a neutral party for the department and employees during meetings with Washoe County Employees Association.
Communicate with management on current events and procedures within the department and discuss options to create efficiency.
Advise, monitor, and participate with recruitment status and process.
Coordinate technology installations and troubleshooting.
Balanced petty cash on weekly basis.
Function as department Safety Coordinator.
Coordinate and perform department safety drills.
Supervise thirteen full-time staff members.
Develop and monitor training plans for new team members.
Plan and Develop Training Handbook for new employees to the phone center front desk.
Plan, Develop, and edit new/revised duties and responsibilities training manual for clerical and front desk staff.
Utilize Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Pro to create and edit documents for staff to utilize on daily basis.
Notarize relinquishments and other documents for department.
Maintain positive working relationships with supervisors, Social Work staff, and support by collaborating using various platforms.
Participate in planning, training, and follow-up with staff of our new phone system.
