About Me

Roblé Ali

I am a chef who has been able to cook for some amazing people - President Obama, Leonardo DiCaprio, John Legend, Jack Nicholson, Michael Jackson and Vanessa Williams, to name a few. I run a catering company called Roblé & Co., have opened a new restaurant “Streets,” in Brooklyn, and have recently signed on to be a regular contributor on ABC’s “The Chew.” I am also working on fun projects such as a signature fragrance, “Clique by Roblé” (www.cliquebyroble.com), a book, apparel line (www.foodpornclothing.com) and philanthropic work focused on children (working with Harlem RBI, Project Sunshine & Brooklyn Community Services).

How I Got Here

Growing up, I was fascinated with food and cooking, learning from my grandfather, a professional chef. At 15, I began work in my first professional kitchen. I enrolled at the Culinary Institute of America to broaden my knowledge of food. I moved to Brooklyn to cook in top restaurants and catering establishments across NYC.
