*Perform project management related to delivery of successful solutions implementations including scoping, resource planning, project planning and scheduling, budgeting, technical and functional specifications, vendor selection, change management, and overall implementation around food and food safety.

*Provide best practices and processes and IT leadership to all functional areas of supply chain management.

*Align with Supply Chain executive leadership personnel to define systems strategy, deployment methodology, support models.

*Effectively manage Food vendors in order to maximize value of resource utilization for supply chan and store retail teams.

*Serve as a key participant on the H.Q. leadership team which is responsible for creating Target training strategies in regards to perishable in store routines to drive consistencies and drive profit profit.

*Drive strategic & tactical planning for the companys supply chain systems.

*Cultivate and maintain effective, on-going relationships with all key functional Business partners and store executives. Stay informed and up-to-date regarding key strategic business initiatives.

*Create and promote a culture of collaboration between Target food division and the supply chain group.

*Introduce new strategies and develop training tools tool set to Target food division as appropriate. Stay abreast of market regional trends and working with state and county municipalities around store set up.

*Oversee the performance of the management team to ensure they perform their duties and responsibilities as mandated. Responsible for team development, succession planning, resource planning, and team training with regards to food safety.

*Negotiate with 3rd party suppliers for regional grocery products. Responsible for managing external vendors responsible for delivering products and services in the most cost-effective and efficient manner on behalf of Target.

*Development team lead for creation of P-fresh, Targets number one growth vehicle. The new mini supermarket prototype located in over 700 stores.

*Responsible for maintaining on-going communications with CIO and functional IT area executives on a regular basis.

*Evaluates and recommends business process improvements to increase company profitability.

*Travel required, approximately 75%, to 70 stores and Corporate Headquarters, vendor locations, conferences, etc...

*Manage 38 store bakery operations and outside baking plant with 4.5 million in outside sales. Responsible for operating P&L statements, product development, logistical partnership with Ryder dedicated logistics, outside sales, training, food safety routines and in store merchandising, newspaper advertising of weekly specials.
• Increased outside sales by 2 million dollars over 18 months. Developed Gooding's to go product line which won national recognition in Supermarket news as newest "Hot" concept in 1997. Developed training programs in food safety and in store product handling. Developed all recipes including award winning sugar free baked goods line.
