Spokesperson and legislative liaison for foundation established by Virginia General Assembly to fund and manage statewide efforts aimed at reducing and preventing obesity and tobacco use among school-age children.
 Produce and manage social media content. (Established and maintained agency presence on sites including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.)
 Serve as webmaster; oversaw four website redesigns.
 Create communications products such as annual reports, brochures, videos and promotional items.
 Hire and manage freelance graphic designers and photographers.
 Developed agency app for conferences and events.
 Interface with press, public and legislators.
 Work closely with executive director, legislators, state Secretary of Health and Human Resources.
 Oversaw rebranding process when agency changed names, including new website and new logo.
 Wrote talking points for Governor, First Lady of Virginia, state Secretary of Health and Human Resources, State Health Commissioner and various legislators.
 Handled media relations for state government emergency operations during Winter Storm Jonas and February 2016 tornadoes while on loan to the Virginia Department of Emergency Management, working in the Virginia Emergency Operations Center's Joint Information Center.
 Handled press relations for VIPs, including First Lady of Virginia and bestselling author/TV personality David Zinczenko.
 Created and handled event management for Virginia Healthy Youth Day, an annual event to promote childhood fitness and nutrition. Received General Assembly resolution designating it an officially recognized state event. More than 5,600 children statewide participated some years.
 Assisted with media relations as part of state team for Queen Elizabeth II's visit for Virginia's 400th anniversary.
 Coordinated legislator visits to VFHY-funded prevention programs and briefed legislators about VFHY's initiatives, budget. etc.
