My duties during the day time shift were to count your drawer as soon as I clocked in and make sure there are no shortages in the bundles. Once my till was counted twice I would greet customers and assist them in there needs in a fast but orderly manner. I would assist them with money orders, money transfers, paying bills, change of big amounts, and cashing most types of checks. My duties in the night shift were the same as the day shift but with more responsibility. I would have to add every single check that was cashed that day and make sure it balanced with what the reports would say. I would also have to add up all the bills, money orders, and money transfers that were made that day and make sure they were balancing as well.
My duties as a loader were to load the truck in a very quick but orderly manner. As I was loading the truck I would have to read and scan the label to make sure it was going to its right destination. I would have to scan at least 75 - 150 boxes an hour very quickly to make sure the line was not getting backed up. I would also have to stack the boxes nice and high enough to make sure every space of the trailer was being used and I would get graded on my speed, neatness, and accuracy.
