Schedule and dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles for conveyance of materials, or for normal installation, service, or emergency repairs rendered outside the place of business. Duties may include using telephone, or computer to transmit assignments and compiling statistics and reports on work progress. Advise the technician scope of work, tools needed, date and time of the call, and include any site-specific information. Contact end-user to set and confirm appointment. Escalate any issues to management immediately to ensure commitment to customer is met. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess the ability to learn quickly. Knowledge of customer service and sales techniques. Ability to negotiate service repair opportunities and rate of compensation. Strong phone skills; majority of time is spent talking on a telephone. Ability to attend to detail while engaging in work of a repetitive nature. Ability to prioritize work activities, use time efficiently. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
