• Graphic/Web Designer: Designed unique, one of a kind Web-page layouts; For instance, if there was was a specific color scheme or type of layout a client had in mind, we could customize their website for them. In general, as an intern, I created basic templates to be to be turned into innovative design solution pieces to show potential clients to give them an idea of what we have to offer.

*Fixed CSS and JavaScript bugs and addressed cross browser issues. This entailed being given a project or two at a time, and being taught how to look for the CSS errors so the site would run properly. Once we understood CSS, we could move onto the JavaScript.

• Graphic Designer: Designed Advertisements for Newspapers, Yellow Pages. These advertisements included various sized ads in several local newspapers with bold caption, advertising scholarships, getting started with school now, and various scholastic programs we offered; the Yellow page ads were more colorful and an attention grabber: paying more attention to details, images, caption and accreditation.

• Developed ideas for Logos, Email banners & Headers, Social Media Networking; I helped my team with sketching out ideas then implementing those ideas onto the computer for final comps for review for new logos when the school switched names to Independent University, as well as needing new campaigns for email banners and headers for the similar concepts.

* Social Media Designer: With Social media networking, I gave the manager of that department some feedback on some of the reviews they had done and answered a few anonymous surveys- I also performed a live interview for their current project as being a recent graduate from the school and having the opportunity to intern there as well.

* Updated campus letterhead

• Created Photo manipulation: If there were any images that needed retouching or possibly needing to take 2 images and make them into 1 image to suit our needs, this is where photo manipulation came into play.
* Advertising for students and potential students. This area coincides with designing the advertisements for Yellow pages and the newspapers; but I also worked on mailers, inserts plus a few misc forms of advertisements.

Monolith Management

Graphic Design Intern

• Production Artist/Graphic Design Intern: Created Press Kits- Press kits were anywhere from 1 to 4 pages, depending on what the Band Manager requested, and also how much information was given. A press kit is like a show piece, a poster if you will. I created these press kits for NEW- UP & COMING BANDS who may or may not have been heard of. These kits displayed group and individual pictures, band history, plus their Facebook, twitter and YouTube accounts as well as any links to their songs displayed elsewhere.
It was a great experience and a good way to get to know people.

•Promotional kits helped new bands deliver their image, names, links, personas and managers names to their target audience, increasing awareness and sales by 20%.
