Initiate, plan, execute, control, and close projects to achieve goals that meet specific success criteria. Manage projects according to business and customer requirements using 47 processes within 5 process groups and 10 knowledge areas. Monitor, review, and communicate project status to mitigate budget, scope, and time constraints. Adhere to project budgets, deadlines, and quality specifications defined by stakeholders. Facilitate process change management within operations. Collect and analyze data for the Operations Director according to business necessity and division requirements. Follow-up with departments to assure deliverables satisfy both internal and external customer requirements. Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to establish reasonable deadlines, and lead status meetings to manage project expectations. Manage complete project life cycles, and ensure compliance to standard project management methodologies.
Responsible to satisfy production schedules for cell phone kitting and programming operations. Oversee 6 Operations Supervisors in respective work areas. Sets clear expectations for production goals, metrics, and behaviors. Actively monitors department performance while present on the production floor throughout the shift. Analyze setup times and production run rates to improve productivity and throughput. Perform process control checks and first article inspections. Escalate recurring problems and risks to goals in order to drive continuous improvement. Attend production and leadership meetings as required. Manages employee schedules, performs employee reviews, and actively participate in employee training and development. Responsible to develop and schedule preventive maintenance, implement process improvement, and maintain production inventories including packaging and collateral.
