Worked with inner city children teaching the importance of respect for the environment, how eco-systems work and the affect it has on their lives. Every week a new group of students ranging from ages 3-12 would come to the center and see for the first time life outside of the city and life inside of nature.

Save Barnegat Bay

Intern

Worked with this non-profit group in various capacities including legislative research, fundraising and office work. Assisted on several different projects, including a fundraising campaign, an awareness campaign for the area about the dangers of nutrient pollution and the dangerous effects it could have on the public, and contributed in the advocacy of a law in New Jersey to stop nutrient pollution in Barnaget Bay. This law is the strictest in the Country relating to what type of fertilizer can be sold in the state.
