7 Wonder Productions

Researching for a BBC4 series, the People's History of Pop.

I am in charge of sourcing contributors with specific music memorabilia from 1956 to 1996. I develop relationships with fan club members and liaise with regional press to encourage music fans to upload items to our crowdsourcing website

I conduct in depth casting phone calls, set up filming locations, carry out on-camera interviews and provide second camera support filming on a Canon XF305.

I also manage the PHOP website and 7Wonder social media accounts. I have singlehandedly increased the company's reach from 60 followers to nearly 1,000 in 3 months.

Assistant News Editor

Working with the News Editor, I am the main point of contact for crew, reporters in the field, producers and editors, ensuring everyone has what they need to deliver the national bulletins

I organise camera crew, chase stories, find and book expert interviewees, conduct phone interviews and keep across footage coming in to the server

An ability to multitask and prioritise jobs is essential, as is being able to complete any task calmly and efficiently in highly stressful situations - skills I put to use most memorably during the Paris terror attacks in November 2015

Royal Television Society

Digital Multimedia Producer

I am in charge of devising, producing and directing online films aimed at engaging with the RTS audience. Several of my series – such as Tips in 60 Seconds – have quickly become staples of the website, contributing towards a 70% increase in new online visitors since my arrival.

I singlehandedly produce and direct a new series whereby I film behind the scenes of programmes such as Newsnight, A League of Their Own and Emmerdale, inspiring graduates to try different roles within TV. This involves extensive research into the workings of the production, liaising closely with production managers to organise the shoot and conducting detailed interviews with members of the production team. I shoot these films on a Canon XF305 and edit using Final Cut Pro X.

Producing, filming and editing films for release under the RTS brand has proven my ability to work independently and deliver under pressure.
