Collaborate with hiring managers and executive staff members to understand their hiring needs and team goals. Assist managers in identifying new strategies and programs to attract candidates.
Review, edit and post vacancy announcements as well as draft external job advertisements.
Prescreen candidates for required skills, experience and aptitude.
Work with the client groups to consult on classification and compensation strategy. This includes reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating position descriptions, conferring with managers, and preparing written documentation on findings. Make recommendations on appropriate level grade and FLSA exemption status. Communicate with stakeholders regarding the results of classification and compensation findings.
Use published or conduct ad hoc surveys to obtain and analyze market pay rates
Providing training to hiring managers and client management on recruiting processes, use of recruiting software systems, hiring manager responsibilities and current market trends
Advise hiring managers regarding policies, procedures and best practices
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of HR practices
Serve as back to the Senior Human Resources Consultant for annual market studies and responding to external market data requests
