Visit hotels, luxury spas, bars and restaurants, and hot-spots in the region to research services and space design, conduct interviews, and write 700–3000 word articles and submitting work for edits before deadlines. Write variety of succinct, intriguing, playful, cheeky, informative, and/or brand-aligned lists of feature titles, subcaptions, and cover call-outs, as well as short feature introductions and content descriptions. Thoroughly proof own work, as well as proof and revise other articles, letters, captions, content page blurbs etc.. Editing includes suggestions in content, word choice, and overall flow, reorganization of information and storytelling, fact-checks, and grammatical proofing in monthly 100-130 page print and online magazine issues.

Event Coordinator

Paseo Nuevo Runway Show: Runway coordinator for Fall 2015 runway show featuring 10 Paseo Nuevo stores, 43 models, and 43 looks including apparel, accessories, hair, and makeup. Work included show storyline, event mood board, event branding and marketing materials, model management, and day-of coordination. 300+ guests.

Central Coast Party Helpers: Event Manager for weddings and dinners with hired service and catering.

Northrop Dance: Assisted in marketing and on-site management of development events at theatres and donor homes in the Twin Cities.

RED Super High Fashion: Produced superhero-themed runway show in 16 weeks. Led six team members, 15 event volunteers, 11 designers, and 34 models to 300 guest event. Wrote and designed event proposal, press releases, event copy, and website.

Scrubbed into Fashion: Coordinated 60+ personnel over 5 months, raising $31,000 for Smile Network International over two years and nearly doubling guest-list from 400 to 700 in 2nd annual event.

PLAYsentations: Oversaw marketing campaign, media design, and set-up for a series of product pitches (think SharkTank!) from student design teams. Attended by the MIT community, toy designers, local engineers, and kids!

Fashion & Business Career Exhibition: Proposed and produced an on-campus career expo exclusively for fashion and design fields. Event included a career fair, networking luncheon, guest speakers, and student workshops. Wrote and designed sponsorship and registration packets. Led 12-person team in employer relationship development, meeting registration goals with student marketing, event layout, set-up and teardown, and check-in of over 100 attendees.
