Co-Founder, Digital Marketing & Content Strategy

Working as a digital and social media strategist for several organizations and brands, my focus varies greatly depending on the client. Sometimes I am tasked with developing an influencer outreach strategy or leading the digital strategy for a website revamp. Other times I might be taking on an executive leader's profile building efforts or organizing detailed inbound marketing campaigns.

Clients come in a large range of sizes and industries, some of which are consumer focused while others have more of a business slant. Depending on the mandate, I might be tapped to assist with strategy support, spearhead account management or lead a team in getting the job done.

In addition to leading my own team, I've also had the pleasure to work with several agencies big and small to deliver strategic counsel and support for content, social media and digital strategy projects.

Select clients include: Doctors of BC, Mojio, CLUG, MOSAIC BC, MapD, Edible Island, Neurio, Basecamp X, Resolve Digital Health

Select agency partners include: Edelman, Zeno Group, Broad Reach Communications, Felicity PR, National Public Relations, GCI Group, Salient Communications, CSuite Content, Briteweb

Adults now spend over 5.6 hours per day on the internet, including 3 hours on mobile up from only 1 in 2011. Yet desktop usage is steady, indicating mobile is an addition rather than a shift.

UBC Continuing Studies

Continuing Studies Instructor

I've developed two course from the ground up for in-person and online formats with the UBC Continuing Studies team.

- Social Media & Content Marketing
- Project Management for Digital Communications

I'm currently developing a third online course, Digital Communications Strategy, as well as one of the founding instructors for the new Accelerated Digital marketing program, leading both the Digital Project Planning course and the final capstone project to mark the completion of the program. Both will launch in early 2017.
