Bachelors, Criminal Justice
Still working on it.
I've been working on my bachelors degree since the age of 17. Being the first in my family to want a college education has been the biggest struggle of my educational path. I've made many mistakes, taken unnecessary classes and paid most of my degree myself. I have always worked full time and gone to school part time. Now I'm a junior at UNT and I'm excited to finally see my dreams come true. I always knew I wanted to be a Criminal Justice major, I just didn't know what path to take in regards to how I wanted to apply my degree to help others. As I finish up my degree I'm getting a clearer picture of where I want to go and I'm proud to say that I inspired my niece to go to college right after she finished high school. She's now a freshman at UTA.
