At Schlumberger I was a seismic data processing geophysicist for a deepwater Gulf of Mexico exploration project. This opportunity allowed me to strengthen my teamwork skills and I gained experience working with clients, and delivering error-free products by strict deadlines. I spent an unforgettable 2 months living and training in Abu Dhabi, UAE in 2014.

Rice University

M.S., Earth Science

At Rice I studied Earth Science, with a specialization in Geophysics & Seismology. My thesis research goal was to image the subsurface under the central US Great Plains.
While I was a student I was a teaching assistant for ESCI 107: Ocean's and Global Change, and ESCI 324: Earth's Interior. The second course elevated my public speaking skills because I was the instructor of the 3-hour lab course once a week.
While at Rice I participated in two fieldwork expeditions. The first, to the banks of the Colorado River in Rifle, CO. There a team of students surveyed, deployed geophones, and conducted an active source seismic experiment. The second was a trip to Mt. St. Helens, where I spent long days driving and mapping the roads on and around the volcano as part of the design of the seismic experiment.
