After interning at a fashionable wearable technology start up MadeWithGlove, I am now working at MadeWithGlove and Women of Wearables to inspire girls and young women to chose a career in STEM and wearable tech.

Aykroyd and Sons are proud and delighted to be at the forefront of Character Licensing. Over many years since the initial concept of garment printing we have developed and strengthened significant partnerships with a considerable portfolio of world famous International Licensing organisations and brands.

Working in unison with the print dept and maintaining communications with the whole main headquarters including liaising with the technical and design team to digitise prints and put together artwork print packs. Responsible for submitting strike offs and contractual samples to licensors.

Working with co-founders Marija and Michelle directly to promote, support and profile Women of Wearables women. Women of Wearables is an initiative to connect, support and inspire women in wearables, AR, VR, IoT and fashion technology.

Wearable Technology Assistant

Executive assistant at a fashionable wearable technology start up, reporting directly to Michelle Hua the Founder and CEO. Aiding in admin work, market research, photo shoots and representing the brand at conferences. Responsible for the running order of, updating it with new content and marketing responsibilities on all social media platforms.

Working on my own wearable tech projects such as a Self Lighting Bag, LED light up shoes and light up pencil cases and UV Sensor hat.

Currently working on delivering workshops on 'How to Make your Own Wearables' in Manchester and London through Women of Wearables initiative, to teach and inspire kids and parents as well as women and girls to learn how to make their very own wearable projects. Because without role models, you can't be who you can't see!
