As the founder and publisher of ParentClick, Rachael wears many hats to develop their product for multiple communities nationwide that includes everything from marketing/social media/networking/sales to business and web development. Their primary target market includes parents, teachers and others working with children. Their secondary market is businesses, schools and non profit organizations trying to reach the family demographic. This requires Rachael to be thoughtful in the planning and execution.
Rachael works closely with their web development company to design new features. Over the past 11 years, both the backend technology and the user experience have changed dramatically. ParentClick moved into the cloud environment and Rachael is currently working on developing mobile apps in order to make the ParentClick content more accessible. Additionally, She spend time analyzing their client's experience using their product so that they ensure that they are building and changing with client needs. Rachael continues to develop marketing strategies, along with streamlining the ParentClick brand and creating community partnerships. Rachael provides training remotely to their community editors through monthly conference calls giving guidance, direction, online support and as a way to encourage and motivate.
