Bachelor's of Science, Psychology

When my freshman psychology professor described psychology as "the study of the soul" I knew I was in the right place. For me, psychology is the perfect combination of science + soul, and I hope to use what I've learned about human behavior to help encourage and motivate others to live their best lives.

The Dr Sears Wellness Institute

Master Certified Health Coach

When I enrolled at the Dr Sears Wellness Institute, I was full of blind ambition and a good amount of shell shock as a result of no longer being part of the formal education system that I had come to know so well. What I found, however, was that the freedom that came with choosing my own path was both liberating and terrifying, and an experience that was well worth it.

ETSU Child Study Center

Teaching Assistant

Working with preschoolers throughout my college years taught me not to take life too seriously (unless there's a cookie crisis; then, by all means, panic). The CSC also connected me with some of the most dedicated, compassionate, hard-working women I've met, and showed me the impact that a positive role model can have on a person's life - regardless of age.

Franklin The Kwon Do

Fitness Instructor

Leadership was something that was new to me when I became a Tae Kwon Do instructor at the age of 11, but after a decade or so, I got the hang of it. I have no doubt that my experiences at FTKD helped me to develop the confidence it takes to act as a servant leader in all areas of my life.
