Non-profit Specialist in Transition

I am currently seeking a position in which I can serve others by providing direct care, customer service, sales, or other specialized assistance to staff, volunteers or clients.

In addition, I am open to engaging in new or exciting ventures and to partnering with organizations or with people from diverse religious, political and socio-economic backgrounds to do the following:

1. Collaborate in addressing domestic and/or global issues relating to climate change, socio-economic injustice, and/or civil and human rights issues;

and/or

2. Collaborate to meet the physical, psychological, social, spiritual and/or other needs of at-risk adults, youth and families on the local, national, regional or global levels.

• Serve social service, community and religious organizations as a community educator, advocate and activist, speaker on issues related to public health, human and civil rights, social ethics and religion in the public square.

Consultant, Educator and Advocate

• Educate and promote dialogue, understanding and collaboration on shared goals between theological and social progressives/liberals and moderate to conservative theological and social conservatives in community and faith organizations.
• Provide consultations and educational presentations to churches, educational institutions and secular organizations on HIV and viral hepatitis prevention as well as treatment and on providing support and services to persons living with HIV/AIDS.
• Provide education and advocate in theologically conservative, moderate and liberal communities of faith and in community organizations for the needs of underserved communities and marginalized populations, such as the homeless, prisoners, youth, LGBT persons, and people living with HIV/AIDS and/or Hepatitis B or C.
