At UNCP, I was responsible for the shared development, implementation, and supervision of a comprehensive student involvement and leadership program which meets the needs of a diverse university community. More specifically, I directly oversaw the development of approximately 80 student organizations; coordinated all aspects of major programming directed toward parents & families; and served as primary advisor to the UNCP Student Government Association. I also served as a co-coordinator of the Leadership Living Learning Community (LLC) program and the primary coordinator for Emerging Leaders (EL). I have also served as a facilitator for the UNCP LeaderShape Institute on two separate occasions.

Graduate Teaching Assistant / Renter Advisory Council Director

As the Graduate Teaching Assistant and Co-Advisor for the Off-Campus Student Association (OCSA) at Oklahoma State University, I was in direct contact with students on a daily basis, providing advisement and counsel to off-campus students regarding landlord/tenant and other off-campus issues. I was also directly responsible for coordinating the annual Off-Campus Housing Guide publication and annual Renter's Fair event, which provided students with a multitude of information regarding off-campus living. In addition to my assigned duties, I worked to design additional educational programming opportunities focusing on the various aspects of off-campus living and assisted my direct supervisor with the facilitation of a Freshman Orientation course.

Through this internship, I maintained flow of information for Student Union Renovation Project, created content for bi-monthly and monthly newsletters, and utilized various social media outlets to disseminate information to both students and staff.

Through my experience as a Graduate Intern with Sorority Affairs at Oklahoma State, I gained a valuable perspective on Greek Life. Working specifically with the women of the Panhellenic Council, I assisted in the planning and facilitating the annual Formal Fall Recruitment, a process that began at the same time as my internship experience.
