It’s my personal belief that books, if chosen well, make the best gifts. This may be related to my other belief that books are the objects most worthy of spending money on, but oh well. Friends, parents, siblings, significant others, potential lovers, colleagues, bosses—you can say anything you want with a great book. Gift books should be substantial, preferably hardcover or audiobook, not necessarily a coffee table book that will never be looked at again, but hefty. Additionally, I try to limit my gifted books to those published in the past six months, for pure novelty and also practicality, as it’s much less likely the person will already have it. That said, I present to you the Levo Holiday Gift Guide For Everyone You Know: Literature Edition.
