Having a good day? Want to change that? Then just check out the new You Vs. the Kardashians calculator tool from MissyEmpire.com which tells you exactly how long it takes a member of this revenue driving family to make your annual income. All you do is put your salary in and then it calculates how long it takes each of the Kardashians to do the same. And let me tell you, it will depress you (unless you actually make as much as a Kardashian.)
For example, if you make $60,000 per year this is how long it will take each woman to make the same.
Kim Kardashian West
For Kim, the one who started it all, to make $60,000 it takes Kim a whole 13 hours and 54 minutes. That's literally the time it takes to watch one Netflix series. And in the 30 seconds, it took me to make that joke she already earned $62.00 as Kim makes $5,800 per hour (so $97.03 per minute and $1.62 per second.)
Kim has made her money through the show which gives her $10 million per season as well as her infamous app, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. It generates about $71.8 million per year and she takes home 40 percent of that then add in her book of selfies, sponsorships (she can make $10,000 per Tweet), clothing lines, and appearances and you've got a net worth of $175 million, according to Time.
Never underestimate the youngest kid. For Kim's little sister Kylie, who now runs a beauty empire, it will take her 1 day and 14 hours to earn what you make in a year as she makes $21,000 per hour. Kylie was the youngest celebrity on the high-earning Forbes list this year as she now has a net worth of around $50 million. She is not even 21 years old.
Supermodel Kendall needs a whole day and 16 hours to make your money. According to Time, she has a net worth of $18 million. Her controversial Pepsi ad may have been a slight blemish, on her brand but she ain't slowing down when it comes to fashion shows, magazine covers, and endorsements.
The fitness guru needs two days to make $60,000. I mean taking selfies takes a long time! With her many endorsement deals and appearances and other reality TV gigs Khloe has a net worth of $40 million, according to Time.
The matriarch of the family needs two days and 14 hours to make that much (she makes $1.3K per hour.) She is busy grooming the next generation of Kardashians after all. As the manager of all these major money makers and the one who actually pitched Keeping Up With the Kardashians to E!, Kris has a net worth of $60 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Though she is considered the least entrepreneurial of the Kardashian sisters, it would take the eldest sister only three days to make your salary as she makes $27,400 per day. As executive producer of her massively popular reality show and spinoffs as well as a founder of the Dash clothing boutique with her sisters, Kourt is worth $35 million.
It is amazing when you think about it especially since this month marks the 10 year anniversary of the premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. This family that was in some ways best known for having a daughter who was Paris Hilton's sidekick on the show now has a collective net worth of $122.5 million (between June 2015 and June 2016.) Each of them is an entrepreneur in their own right as well as being on the cutting edge of all of the social media. They have not only kept up with The Joneses, they have outpaced them and then took a selfie.
