Love this giveaway!! My coffee routine consists of Starbucks, a drive thru line, and a lot of patience :)

A cup of Rebo (the only brand my family drinks - straight from Haiti), a little Carnation milk, a warm croissant and a banana. Great start to the day OR mid-day pick me up.

I usually have 1 cup of coffee before I go running and 1 more before lunch time. I drink my coffee black which means I don't often venture to Starbucks.

My day doesn't feel right without a cup (or two) of coffee. I make my coffee with cream at home and read theSkimm first thing every morning.

coffee routine involves stopping on the way in to the office-- always on the go, but would be more efficient!

I brew two cups of fresh coffee every morning to sip on while I watch the morning news. I keep it simple, no cream or sugar.

I start each day with coffee, but I also love my mid afternoon coffee breaks at work - the best way to recharge!

I love my relaxed weekend coffee. During the week it is normal drip coffee but when you have time for a nice homemade cup from the french press, that is a beautiful thing.

black asap in the mornin 2 cups

Coffee is how I start my morning everyday. A good cup a black strong coffee with a splash of milk is perfect for me. For an accountant with crazy hours, coffee is a top priority.

My favorite time to make coffee at home is on the weekends and when I have guests. I currently use a french press, and I feel like the process of making it...the time it requires and the different steps, adds love to the process. When guests are around, I like to set the coffee first thing in the morning, I prepare the milk while the coffee is in the french press, and serve it when they come to the table.

As a busy college student, I start my day with a quick cup of coffee thanks to my blessed Keurig. It brews while I get ready and I'm out the door in no time. On the weekends though I like to take things slower with a french press cup in bed catching up on my favorite blogs and TV shows.

I'm ALWAYS on the go - so my routine is simple, pick it up somewhere! I'm an iced coffee girl, no sugar - a little cream. Flavors when I'm feeling festive. When I'm at home, my "I'm not bossy. I'm the boss." mug is my go-to.

My routine as a work from home mom is to make my coffee first thing in the am and nurse it on the way to the gym. I love hearing the sound of brewing and that amazing smell in my kitchen.

I usually make two cups and put them in a huge travel mug. I drink some during my commute and enjoy the rest for the first hour at my desk. I catch up on the news and relax for a few until the day gets going.

We aeropress every morning using fresh ground Java Pura coffee, it's a very relaxing morning routine to start off the day.

My favorite coffee routine is to use my Keurig during the week when I'm on the go and an espresso machine on the weekends when I have more time. I love to add flavored syrups to my coffee and lattes!

Raechel Eliasen
Raechel Eliasen

Best mornings start off with a latte with simple syrup mixed in and later on (around 3 to beet the 4 o'clock slumps and get through the last 3 hours of work) I grab a simple cup of coffee with sugar and whole milk.

My favorite coffee routine is walking a few blocks with my best friend to a local coffee shop by my school.

Rising before the sun often means a cup (or three) of rich, velvety coffee. I grind whole beans while I heat water in my electric kettle. The magic happens in my french press, and while I less-than-patiently wait for the brew, I catch up with the news I missed overnight. Read, pour, sip, and savor.

I can't start my work day until I've had my morning cup of coffee. Sometimes I make it myself and other more difficult to start mornings require a stop at a local coffee shop.

Meg Gerloff

My coffee routine is setting up the night before and having it ready for me the next morning. One cup of coffee with a bit of skim milk at home with my fiance and then one cup at work.

Heather Bien

I make my coffee with a ceramic pour over coffee maker every morning. It's a wonderful way to slow down and take in the start of the day.

My office does not supply coffee, so my colleague and I alternate who brews for our department. It's simple stuff, but the coffee brand makes all the difference.

Jessica Pitt

I like to drink my morning coffee* on the subway from an insulated, reusable mug. *filter with a splash of milk please

My favorite one, which I save for busy days or when I need to treat myself, is to get a med café au lait, 4 Splenda packets. Since it's usually from SB (it's just too easy to order from my phone!), my order is a grande caffé misto, usually a Pike Peak roast.

My favorite coffee routine is perking up with a cup on Saturday, cozying up on the couch with my bf and cats, and relaxing. Whether the coffee comes from the little cafe up the road or the French press in my kitchen, it's a relaxing ritual to partake in each weekend.

Beth Cahill
Beth Cahill

During the week, I like to alternate french press or a pour over depending on the time. On the weekends, it's a quick double shot of espresso to get me motivated for a long run and a productive day!

Having coffee right in the morning, right as I am getting into my cold car the coffee brings to me warmth and energy to make today a good day.

Tracy Schumacher

My favorite coffee routine is to add chocolate syrup and whipped topping to my coffee which pretty much makes it bad for me by then.lol

beans are the way to go! grind and yum.

My best coffee routine is combining espresso grounds with a pinch or two of cardamom in a moka pot - for a strong & earthy flavor to my afternoon pick-me-up. Also required: Company and conversation, of course!

Coffee is my ritual. I love the aroma, the flavor, the shared enjoyment of coffee. My favorite way to explore a new country-city-neighborhood is to find the local coffee shop! I earned my Starbucks Gold card before I had my driver's license. Now, I stick to fair trade sourced, locally purchased dark roasts. Each morning I brew french press coffee. I give my pup her morning belly rub and have my first cup. I bring the next to-go on my walk to the office. The third cup is placed in the fridge, in reserve, for the afternoon jolt (something much needed in my industry). There are few things I enjoy more than pure coffee: no sugar, no milk, and extra hot or brewed cold. Coffee is a part of my identity; a strong constant that ensures a good start to the day.

Hot coffee + NYT Sunday Crossword!

first thing in the morning, I start the keurig, brew a favorite cup of anything with caramel or mocha, some half & half and sugar in the raw. While savoring my coffee i like to watch the news

I've got a dinky little coffee maker, but it has a timer setting on it that allows me to set up the night before. It starts brewing at 7, and the smell gives me a reason to roll out of bed in the morning. Coffee is very much an everyday thing for me. Sometimes a multiple times a day thing...

We set the timer the night before so we have fresh coffee when we wake up.

I stumble out of bed and head straight to the kitchen to start a pot of coffee while I wait for my computer to boot up and start off a productive day working from home.

Unfortunately as a transit commuter, I have had too many near-misses to bring coffee on the bus with me. So I drink it at my desk while pouring over emails. but on weekends, my boyfriend and I bust out the French press and brew some quality coffee to read the paper with. It may be old-fashioned but there's nothing better than the smell of newspaper ink and french roast!

Brendan Burke

I ignore my malfunctioning Nespresso machine and drag through as much of my workday as I can before vamoosing to Stumptown for a Nitro draft. I commence kicking booty.

We drink iced coffee, so we make it the night before and refrigerate it. But on the weekends, we head to one of our favorite coffee spots so we can linger over dancing goats coffee. Yum!

As a student coffee is a saving grace. I love mornings with time set aside for preparing one of my favorite roasts in my french press and sipping it from a favorite mug. Always makes the day a bit brighter!

I brew dark roast coffee and take it on-the-go to get me through my morning commute!

As a freelance graphic designer, I get out of bed and head straight to my french press and get started designing as soon as it is brewed!

As a Law Student I drink an inordinate amount of coffee. Between studying, internship, and volunteering free legal information to low income New Yorkers, I have a lot of late nights and early mornings!

I set the timer the night before! Then it is ready for me when I need it in the morning. So even if I am running a little late, I have time to pour some in my on-the-go mug! :)

set it the night before ... and wake up to a kitchen smelling of warm coffee yumminess!

I like brewing it in the morning so it's hot and fresh. During summer and winter, a hot cup of coffee is always welcome. While I wait for it to brew, I like to put on a record and start opening up the blinds and windows to let the morning light in. The smell of fresh brewed coffee is almost as invigorating as the taste.

every Sunday morning I treat myself to a latte and the new york times. The quiet time makes for a peaceful start to the last day before the 5-day chaos begins.

My roommate hates that I get up so early (I try to be quiet!), but I feel the most prepared for my day when I can get up before the rest of the world is awake and brew a flavorful cup of La Columbe. I'm a creature of habit and almost always get the brewer going while I cook two eggs, over-medium, and ready some whole-wheat toast with butter and strawberry preserves. I'd love to up my morning coffee game with this awesome set.

Every morning I make espresso and drink it in bed. Such a great way start the day by taking some quiet time for myself before getting ready for the day!

Every morning I make myself a Hawaiian keurig cup of coffee. With a toddler an newborn, u can't go a day without it;)

Black coffee first thing in the morning -- please.

I currently use an old fashioned single serving stainless steel Vietnamese drip coffee press. its enough for less than 8 ozs. its an equipment that you pretty much place on top of your mug, add espresso grounds and pour hot water over. Not enough to keep me going all day but saves me from walking all the way to the break room down stairs. This is my first time hearing about Coffee Kind, and I believe its just the kind I need for a perfect start to my 9-5 daily.

i go for freshly ground coffee that i hopefully remembered to set the timer for.

My favorite coffee routine is grounding up fresh beans and using the pour-over method. Though, I will admit that I most often rely on my regular drip coffee pot for convenience. When given the option, I like to enjoy my cup of coffee snuggled with my pup on the couch while indulging in a good book!

Every morning I rise at between 3 & 4am and enjoy a cup or 2 of coffee brewed for me by my honey. I relax catching up on email or a guilty pleasure tv show I love and get dressed leisurly and leave the house by 5:15am to get on the road to work. It is definately the most peaceful and relaxing time of my day... every day!

I cannot get through the day without a big cup of Café du Monde coffee and chicory with hazelnut creamer. Best part of my day!

My aeropress Americano and then I can think straight.

In the summers at my family's lake house, I come downstairs to a full pot of coffee, try to beat my Dad to the mug from our alma mater, and sit looking out at the lake while I wake up and enjoy where I am.

Every morning when I first wake up the first thing I do is drink a cup a coffee. On my way to drop my 15 year old off at school and we have started a routine of stopping at a small hidden coffee shop and having conversations and coffee. It's the highlight of my weekdays.

I grind imported coffee from a private distributor weekly and every night I set my automatic coffee pot to brew at the same time my alarm goes off so that it is ready by the time I hit the kitchen after my shower!

My favorite (luxurious necessity) is my morning coffee routine. I like a light roast Costa Rica, ground by hand, as a pourover in my favorite mug. The best is when I get to sit quietly and enjoy it for a few moments on my front porch. It's my way of slowing down in the morning so I can be effective later in the day.

If the weather is warm, its a couple of ounces of home-brewed cold brew made from Stumptown beans with a splash of cream. If cooler, its pour-over with fresh-ground, fresh-roasted beans.

I used to make cold brew with filters and such when I lived in Brooklyn. Now I usually just run to starbucks because my keurig is on the fritz. Would LOVE a kit like this, though!

Being on the road a lot for work is tough on routines, but I've managed to bring a half gallon mason jar with me which I use to make cold brew with freshly ground locally-roasted beans whenever possible. Every morning I pour a little into my tumbler, add a touch of milk and some ice and my day can begin!

I don't have time to make coffee on the weekdays but on weekends I savor the process. I have a single cup brewer that makes the perfect amount. Once the coffee is made, I add Stevia and almond milk.

Coffee is my morning reminder to slow down and enjoy the morning. So often you wake up and rush around crazily. I've found when I wake up and make myself a pour over cup of coffee that I enjoy the morning so much more. It makes me take time to smell the coffee as I grind the beans and as I slowly pour the water around the grounds. I think we all need a reminder to slow down a bit in the mornings.

Most mornings at the office, a few coworkers and I put on a pot of water and grind beans for a few hot or cold pour overs. Our office is located just behind a local coffee shop, so we always keep some really delicious beans around. The conversation and coffee are a great morning pick-me-up!

My husband and I both crawl out of bed when our son begins to crow like a rooster. Our greatest supporter on these ridiculously early mornings is the tiny coffee bean - whether we take the time for a freshly brewed cup or we go for our stash of cold brew.

Chloe Peeples

Making coffee is the first thing I do when I crawl out of bed. I lumber to the kitchen and start brewing coffee in a coffee maker that belonged to my roommate's grandmother when she was our age. I'll have at least one cup before I leave the house and put the rest in a thermos to get me through the work morning.

Iced coffee even in the winter! Either from my office fridge or Laughing Man :)

I get a venti iced coffee every day! I would love to be able to make coffee at home on the weekends as well! It is my favorite way to start the day.

French press in the morning with freshly ground beans!

Just a few years ago I started on a mini coffee revolution. While I love Keurig's convenience, it was ultimately the trigger in wanting to have more control over my coffee, instead of less. I started with a french press, then got a kettle, then grinder, and finally a Chemex. What is it about Chemex that always seem to shatter too quickly. ;) I enjoy my coffee so much more now, and am excited to learn more about the brewing process.

I have a long commute to work, so coffee is a priority and made immediately when I wake up. If I'm up early I'll use the french press. Busy mornings result in the drip brewer and sometimes I'll even prep the filter and water the night before. Fresh coffee and new music during the morning drive sends me off in a good mood. Love iced mocha coffee after my daily morning fun. It really helps me through my day

I am the only one in my office with a coffee pot, so I keep a box filled with extra cup and packs of sugar. Sometimes starting the coffee pot and getting people away from the mountain of work to socialize by the coffee maker for a few minutes can be the highlight of all of our days. The coffee pot not only fuels my caffeine needs, it has brought a level of community that we did not previously have.

I love black coffee with cookies.

Since I'm always the first to rise at my house, this is my quiet time. I get the chance to sit down with the first cup of coffee and enjoy the sunrise. Often it's accompanied by a book or some writing, but sometimes it's just me, the coffee and the serene feeling that comes with starting the day in such a relaxing way.

On those especially challenging days, iced coffee with milk fills me with joy.

When my boyfriend and I first met, we were both freelancing and various local, craft coffeehouses were often our office of choice. Now, with busy schedules we only get to enjoy coffee dates with each other on the weekends, but it is one of my favorite things!

My best coffee moment is on the weekend when I can take my time making the coffee. I enjoy the smell of coffee brewing. I pour myself a huge mug of coffee and go out to my garden and enjoy the songbirds and the aroma of the flowers while I savor the flavor of my dark bold coffee.

I love using coffee as a way to discover a new place. Whenever I am in a new city I try to look up favorite local coffee shops on Yelp. Its a great way to get a feel for the city's character.

I love Saturday mornings when I wake up early enough to go with my dad to the local farmer's market. We always get coffee and then spend time walking around, listening to the music and chatting with vendors.

I own 7 different coffee brewing systems. Always looking for the newest and greatest. I am definitely a coffee enthusiast. My routine depends on my mood, sometimes I use the espresso machine if I am in need of a quick pick me up, other times I sue the latte machine if I need a comfort drink. And then there are the times that I just want a great cup of coffee, that's where the other machine come in handy...

French Drip. Enough said.

SF has a ton of great coffee. Since I have a long commute, I don't have time to make coffee at home (luckily, we have a keurig machine at work with k-cups provided), so when I go out for coffee, I try to hit up the local coffee shops. I love looking up a city's coffee shops as well when I'm traveling! Latte art = brownie points in my book.

I love my french press and the coffee experience that comes along with using it. It is a fun experience and one that leaves me with the way coffee should taste!

My grandparents are Italian, so I've adopted what they do at home: coffee in the morning, coffee at midday, coffee in the afternoon. Mostly done by Aeropress, but I am a sucker for caramel lattes from the cafe across from work. I'm pretty sure if you cut me, I would bleed caffeine.

I love cozying up to the aroma and to that nice bubbling sound.

Every morning, in the same "energize me" Tigger cup right after a shower when I sit down to check emails. I like to buy Fair Trade, organic blends smooth without the need for cream or sweetener, with a small preference for dark roast, but a willingness to try all sorts.

Weekday mornings I make one cup with my mini french press and add a dash of cream and a spoonful of brown sugar to get in my Julie Andrews moment for the morning. I wake up earlier than my roommates and make my way to the kitchen where I boil some water for my coffee while adding enough sugar to satisfy my taste buds. Coffee is made early in the morning so my boyfriend gets the jolt he needs to start his workday as I return to bed.

My first cup of coffee was in Costa Rica watching the sunset while red macaw pairs flew overhead to find places to roost for the night, so I love being able to enjoy a cup of coffee slowly. A perfect cup of coffee is one that is made with care -- taking a few minutes to relish the process of grinding, packing, and waiting for a good cup of coffee to brew, the fragrant smell wafting out of the cup when it's set before you. I love to take that brief after-lunch lull in my day and fix myself a cup of coffee and enjoy it while I do more tedious afternoon meeting and email filtering. =)

On weekends, my boyfriend and I often treat ourselves to some sugary Starbucks coffee. It's my favorite time because it gets us away from the TV and focused just on each other. We sit at the coffee shop for hours sometimes, just talking and enjoying each other's company. :)

Fresh ground beans and a french press every morning. Worth it every time.

When I was living in Japan my favorite routine was walking around the corner after work to my friend's cafe, where I would order an old-school Japanese style drip coffee at the counter and then chat with her while I sipped. Since I've been back in the states my routine has become much more automated (espresso shot every morning) and I would love to have a chemex that would create major nostalgia for the coffee & chat days in Japan!

My favorite coffee routine, is a cup of strong coffee, sometimes black, sometimes with a bit of cream, every morning with my breakfast, and sitting on the bench by my window to watch nature. I love when it rains, and squirrels bury their nuts, and birds hop right up to look at me. I appreciate little things like that. It helps me to clear my head, and coffee is the most comforting thing to go with that. My mother has raised me to drink good coffee, and we often have conversations about our favorite regions and countries that the coffee comes from, or which micro-lot we prefer to drink. There is a small coffee business that is in one Province in Canada exclusively, that is my favorite place to buy exotic blends from! I could not get through the day without my morning coffee, and any other other cups that I have after that are treats.

Pour over every morning to enjoy on my way to work. Second cup at my favorite coffee shop with coworkers.

My favorite coffee routine is on Sunday morning, I wake up early and snuggle with my dog while catching up on my favorite magazine, usually Bon Appetite!

I only have one coffee routine and it's not my favorite. Microwave some water for 1 minute and put in a couple tablespoons of Walmart's finest instant coffee. And sit at the computer. I repeat this every half hour for the rest of the day.

I typically wake up, throw on a sweatshirt, wash/moisturize my face, then sit at the counter and drink enough coffee until I'm a semi-functioning human being (usually one cup will do). Only then can I carry on with the rest of my morning routine, including a second cup on the drive to work!

I like to wake up early, go for a walk, and grab a coffee from one of my favourite local coffee shops. The walk helps to wake me, while the coffee gives me the jolt to start my to-do list for the day!

Katrina Demlow
Katrina Demlow

My coffee routine begins after I roll out of bed and take out my dog and set my coffee to brew. When I return from our walk, I sit down with a nice, warm cup and relish the warm relief from the blustering, cold morning wind outside. I silence my mind and visualize my day going forward.

My favorite coffee routine involves medium roast beans from a volcanic region, my capresso bur grinder, scale, electric kettle for making pour over and that first sip... priceless.

I drag myself to my coffee first thing in the morning, consume it, and transform into an actual human being. Throughout the rest of the day, it proceeds to actually be simply just a tasty treat/something to drink. Until the next morning when it again becomes some sort of rare elixir, I guess the opposite of Dr. Jekyll's...?

There's nothing better than an endless pot of coffee and the Sunday Times on a lazy morning!

I am using the same Melitta I've had for 10 years. Something new would be quite nice, since living in Seattle I find it necessary to drink coffee every. single. morning. Especially in winter....

I posted a comment, but do not see it. Trying again. Coffee is my morning ritual like many here in Seattle. I've been very curious about the Chemex.

My favorite ritual is starting the day with the aroma of already brewing coffee... not made by me! :)

My coworkers and I like to take some time out of our busy schedules on Friday to make French Press coffee with a local roast. We always try something new!

I stop every morning before work-on the days I work at a middle school, it's Dunkin donuts; the days I work in private practice, it's McDonald's...and on those days it's Dunkin for my extra pick me up since those days are long ;)

My roommate used to work for a coffee importer, so we're used to really, really good coffee. To this day, after she gets out of the shower (before I'm up), she'll grind up coffee fresh and brew a pour over for both of us. We've lived together for 6 years and this coffee tradition keeps us close (and caffeinated!).

After my morning workout I have a cup of coffee to get the day started with my hour train ride to work. On Friday's it's extra special because I treat myself to a good cup of coffee from a local coffee shop. They seem to have a good "humph" to their coffee and I LOVE IT! There's something about a non-chain coffee shop that makes that cup of goodness the best!

I brew a fresh coffee every morning, I need my coffee more than anything else

There's something so comforting when I make myself that first cup of coffee in the morning before I start my day and take care of my to-do list. It's always a great reminder that today is a new day and that anything is possible with coffee :)

My favorite coffee routine is going with a friend or my coworker to Caribou and catching up!

My roommates and I barely see each other, but in the morning we make a point to take ten minutes to catch up on each other's lives over a cup of coffee. Best part of my morning routine...

I love to brew a cup of coffee then take it with me on a nice long walk! It's so relaxing to mix a favorite beverage with the great outdoors!

Pretty much any coffee routine is a good one. My personal favorite is during the holidays when I can treat myself to French press with a dash of eggnog. I can't do it all the time, but it can start off any work day on the right foot!

Coffee is an important aspect of my life. My routine changes based upon the day, but I always start the day with a fresh cup. My typical brew method is an inverted Aeropress method that brings forth amazing flavors. Sugar and cream are never needed – the flavor of the coffee is enough. There is nothing better than that first sip of coffee hitting your lips. After I enjoy my first cup, I will typically have two more at work, but there is no special brew there. A simple drip coffee pot with some C-class coffee. It’s disappointing, but it’s free.

My coffee routine is pretty simple. I use it as a relaxing reward after my weekly grocery shopping trip. I savor it on the way home and then as I'm putting away all the groceries.

Brew after dinner, pour over ice in the morning with cream. Iced coffee FTW, even in the middle of a cold Wisconsin winter.

My morning coffee is a definitely an important ritual for me. While my dog eats her breakfast, I boil the water for my coffee and grind my beans with a hand grinder. Once the beans are ready and the water boils, I begin the brewing process in my french press. I wait about 3 minutes for the coffee to steep in my french press, and I spend this time doing some quick training exercises with my dog. When the coffee's done, I sip it while catching up on Twitter or my email.

My favorite coffee moments are those weekend morning home brews..you can relax for a change to actually enjoy a cup & a book
