Whether you’re faced with your first job offer or fifth, Chelsea Clinton has some keen negotiation advice for you: “It’s better to ask and be told ‘no’ than to not ask at all…recognize that you’re not alone,” she says.

She also discussed the gender wage gap. “We know that we need to do more to ensure that women are equally valuing ourselves,” Ms. Clinton says. “And we need to change the social norms and cultures within employers so that women are equally valued.”
