Recruited, motivated and supervised a team of 6 department managers and complete sales force within a multi-state territory. Negotiated and administered long-term, profitable contracts with industry leaders, such as Kroger, Safeway, Rite Aid, Dollar General and others.
Increased sales by $5 million in 2009 to a total of $60 million in annual revenue; also improved EBITDA in 2009 by $1.5 million in 2008.
Headed up the launch of 2 new products, along with promoting the entire portfolio of canned goods, fresh meat, frozen cooked beef, pouches and delicatessen lines.
Fully reengineered material handling functions, enhanced JIT services and reduced cost of inventory and warehousing by $1 million.
Completely redesigned the company's logo, marketing material, tradeshow presence and advertising.

Acquired a strategic partnership with one of the largest beef producers, Marfrig, in South America.
Instituted a finely-tuned Traceability Quality Control process for a fresh meat producer that resulted in 25% higher sales over previous year in Europe.
Renegotiated and administered a freight contract, decreasing costs by 10%.
