As the HR Manager for Canada Drives, I am a mentor to those who report to me and a coach for managers on employee relation issues including performance management, progressive discipline and terminations. I am responsible for performing employee check-ins at the 90 day mark, updating corporate policies, employee handbooks and take the lead for for Employment Standards claims and maintain our HRIS (BambooHR) system. I oversee the strategy plan for growth and am the decision marker for partnerships with third-party recruitment agencies and local recruitment opportunities. I contribute to the morale of the organization and provide a positive and fun experience for not only candidates during the recruitment process but also for our employees through trivia, spin class, or just over beers on a Friday. #LifeatCanadaDrives
