Manage a team of 15+ employees, coordinating day-to-day operations and assigning tasks to refueling teams during layovers. Monitor the consumption of fuel by aircraft, assuring that aircraft receive the only the required allotment of fuel. Develop a thorough knowledge of American Airlines and ASIG operations. Distribute valid operational information and timely updates to leadership and fueling staff. Assure flights schedules were met in a timely manner and document changes or delays. Audit and correct fuel related paperwork. Communicate and follow-up with Maintenance Department on timely repairs to tanker vehicles and adjust schedules accordingly. Answer and direct phone calls. Investigate and resolve issues between the fueling department and airlines. Draft and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms for management and airlines.
• Actively prospected and recruited clients to contract with ASIG, winning additional business from Iberia Airlines and US Airways.
• Achieved an on-time turnaround rate of 95%, exceeding client standards.
