Once I successfully navigated through the entry level marketing and sales training as an Account Executive, I was promoted within 3 months to Account Manager acting not only as the link between the client we represent (Direct Energy) and local businesses, but also as a link between Corporate Trainers and Account Executives.
As an Account Manager, I was responsible for new customer acquisition, business to business sales and marketing, and team leadership and development, with a specific focus in developing from being one who can “do” into one who can “teach” as well as “leading from the front.” I learned how to balance roles as a sales and marketing professional, coach and mentor. Global Marketing Concepts supported me with direct one on one mentorship and training, providing me the opportunity to develop the leadership abilities and entrepreneurial mindset necessary to become a successful people and business manager in the future.
