Serve as the designated expert on the interpretation of human resource policies issues for expatriates.Develops and assists the implementation of human resource programs for both local and foreign entities with a concentration on host-country labor law and legal issues.
Regularly maintain involvement with new foreign entities for an extended period to develop policies, processes and procedures and handle employee relations issues. Responsible for implementation of International Assignment Agreements, hiring of local nationals outside Nigeria.
Develop staffing strategies and implementation plans and programs to identify talent within and outside the corporation for positions of responsibility. I am also solely responsible for identifying appropriate and effective external sources for candidates for all levels within the company.
Provide day-to-day direction in all aspects of international human resources, including supervision of expatriate support call center. Assume corporate responsibility for development of company guidelines, policies and procedures on expatriate issues.
Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by coaching employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
