Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic factors. Also conduct inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals. Provide supervision and monitoring of safety at the Fairless Hills Plant including the production floor and field areas. Make worksite assessments to determine risks, potential hazards and controls, evaluating risks and hazard control measures, investigating incidents, maintaining and evaluating incident records, and preparing emergency response plans. Writing and submitting detailed reports to Gamesa Health and Safety Regional Director and Fairless Hill Plant manager. Conduct training for staff and new hire personnel. ( Office safety, Forklift training, Crane training). Prepare and review specifications and orders for the purchase of safety equipment, ensuring that proper features are present and that items conform to Health and Safety standards.
