The IT Leadership Program at GE Aviation is a two-year program, comprised of four six-month rotations. Additionally, the ITLP delivers continued education with over 12 weeks of technical (e.g. Java programming, DBA, data warehousing, business intelligence, et al), project management (waterfall and Scrum), and leadership training over the two years. 3 weeks of this training is in Shanghai, China.
Additionally, I served as the focal for the INTERalliance committee within GE Aviation and GE Corporate, managing the internship program and other various levels of sponsorship for a year.
Rotation #1 (Feb-Sept 2012): Supply Chain, Project Manager; responsible for the management of the next generation Gage & Tool project being implemented at 14 sites across the US. Additionally, created and led the iPad Support Program within Aviation Supply Chain.
Rotation #2 (Sept 2012 - Feb 2013): Aviation Systems - Baltimore, MD; responsible for developing enterprise wide data archiving strategy for a Systems-wide Oracle Upgrade project.
Rotation #3 (Mar 2013 - Aug 2013): Aviation IT Services - Austin, TX; responsible for onboarding new acquisition to GE hardware and software, both at end user and data center levels. Additionally, responsible for any process improvements and training that may arise as new acquistion takes on more responsibilities.
Rotation #4 (Sept 2013 - Feb 2014): Sales, Marketing, Collaboration, and Communication IT - Cincinnati, OH; Salesforce.com rollout
