Working on various desulphurisation method to purify feed and paraffin dehydrogenation to be used in conversion of olefins to distillate (COD technology)
Working on various projects i.e. climate change mitigation, energy policy, carbon footprint.
UCT carbon footprint was the main large project i worked on, objective was to quantify the amount of CO2 that University of Cape Town emit to the environment. Therefore data collection was performed for all the major source of CO2. This work has been published follow the link bellow for the full details of the project: http://www.erc.uct.ac.za/Research/publications/10Thapeleetal-UCT_footprint.pdf
Project tittle: The Synthesis of the Cyclometallated Palladium Complexes and Their Applications in Olefin Oligomerization and in Phenylacetylene Oligemerization/polymerization
