Learn to swim teacher

As a learn to swim teacher and coach, my primary job description is:
Teaching people of every age how to swim, from toddlers to senior citizens, including some mentally and physically challenged, children.
Help those who already know how to swim to enhance their skills.
Using my own techniques to teach students how to swim expertly. Mostly based on the Swim Australia and Swim South Africa guidelines.
Taking care of the safety of my students during training period, and with my little ones in the change rooms as we help them to dress after lessons.
Taking note of the weakness among students and training them accordingly.
Helping students get past their fear of water and swimming by making sure they feel safe.
Teaching them life saving techniques for themselves and to help save other’s lives.
Give regular reports of students to parents regarding their skills.
There are various other job related goals which form part of my job description, however, the main ones are related around the students and the progress they make at every swimming lesson.
I believe that apart from the actual learning to swim, it is important to also:
Inspire my students to make a difference in their lives,
Encourage the emotional, physical, social and academic development of my students,
Work with the Principals, teachers and parents to identify programs which will positively impact on the lives of my students,
Help to develop sportsmanship and team spirit in my students,
Inspire my students to achieve their own goals,
Treat each student as an individual with their own specific needs,
Help each child to respect each other and our environment.
