Leads Sales for Liberty Power, the largest independently owned retailed of electricity in the United States. In this role, I direct the development and implementation of the company’s sales strategies for commercial, small business and residential customers. I also oversee supervise a 30 person sales team and oversee the company’s more than 200 channel relationships.
As SVP of External Affairs, I have a leadership role in developing our communications and stakeholder engagement strategies. Liberty Power has been featured in leading media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Business Week, The Miami Herald, Smart Business, NPR’s ‘Martketplace’ and Univision.

Led the company's entry into the Fortune 500 segment. Grew customer base from less than a dozen companies to now having served one of out of five Fortune 500 companies. Awarded Supplier of the Year by JCPenney, Pepsi, and Costco. Developed innovative procurement strategies that enhanced customers abilities to manage risk and contain costs.

Part of senior leadership team that grew startup into the largest independently owner owned retail electricity supplier. Developed our regulatory affairs department, marketing and communications strategy. Awarded outstanding minority owned energy company by National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) in 2009. Created first of it's kind "SMB Regulatory Report Card" to assist small businesses in comparing states' retail energy marketplace.
