Primarily responsible for managing a team of six business development associates to identify and oversee ongoing relationships with thousands of international brand partners, to build eCommerce sales and manage marketing promotions. Working closely with our development team on product management initiatives to build-out the back-end of the marketplace platform, in order to create a better experience for the brands and users, ultimately driving traffic and sales. Additional involvement in developing operational business practices and managing the logistics of a fast paced and evolving start-up environment.
• Attained an average of 125% of brand-launch quota each week, on boarding over 1000 brand partners overall
• Launched and managed major brand partners across many categories, such as: Nordstrom, Barneys NY, Sony, Leica, Warby Parker, Ace Hotel and Brookstone
• Contributed to growth in user base from 1M to 9M members, in just under 1 year
