As assistant Chief, I'm one of three senior managers at the organization charged with consistent growth and improvement of our Emergency Medical Service. My specialized responsibilities deal with public and hospital relations, information technology, data analysis, billing concerns, and community healthcare. I participate in policy design and implementation for our organization. I also coordinate the emergency planning process for special events and continue to look for new technologies to integrate into the emergency medical services. I am also a certified Paramedic and continue to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of my prior position as Public Information Officer.

Public Information Officer

As Public Information Officer, my prime responsibility was management of Cumberland Goodwill's public relations. In addition, I directed our information technology policy, resulting in a successful overhaul of our station's computer, network, and email systems. I also directed a pledge drive that annually nets over $170,000 for our organization. I monitored and maintained all Cumberland Goodwill's social networking accounts, drafted policies related to social networking, and coordinated media outreach about our service.
