Designed and directed creative for fast-paced skincare department (15+ brands), most notably YouthCode, Revitalift, Age Perfect, Sublime Bronze and Go360Clean.

Designed and directed creative for primary & secondary packaging, POP displays, merchandising, environmental graphics, sales kits and collateral. Worked closely with marketing, product development and merchandising teams to concept and steer projects from ideation to execution.

Accountable for accurate and timely art production, photo shoots, retouching, color approvals and press runs. Source and develop design studios, freelancers, photographers and other vendors. Manage budgets, project schedules and team of designers.

Virgin Entertainment Group

Senior Designer

Built and managed in-house design department, along with vendor and consultant teams; directed and designed store graphics, web sites and branded environments for VEG and Virgin Megastores. Art-directed and designed comprehensive retail graphics program, including banners, directories, POP displays and shopping bags. Created DD packages for new Virgin Megastore prototype and rollout, from space planning and merchandising strategies to retail fixtures, furnishings and environmental graphics. Created DD packages for Virgin’s corporate headquarters in LA, including materials, furniture and lighting specs. Teamed with marketing department and external agencies on new ad campaigns and in-store promotions. Worked with Virgin Senior Team, product managers and marketing staff to execute creative vision and strategies relevant to each market channel. Reported to VP, Retail Design, delivering operational strategies, budgets, schedules and resource allocation.


I.D. Magazine

Assistant Editor

Scouted, researched and wrote about new design covering consumer products, graphics, packaging, environments, and interactive media. Shaped and edited I.D.’s regular Calendar section. Coordinated I.D.’s Interactive Media Design competition, compiled resulting awards issue and produced accompanying CD-ROM. Managed production team, schedules and assets (images, music and copy). Curated Annual Design Review Exhibitions at Steuben Gallery, AIGA Gallery and Moss (1996–1998).
