At Union Pacific, I serve as a creative marketing intern for the subsidiary, PS Technology. I basically serve as their in-house ad agency, with functions ranging from branding and strategic planning to print design to video creation.

Receptionist/Office Assistant

I served as the receptionist and office assistant for the Omaha office at Bailey Lauerman. My duties and responsibilities included basic clerical tasks such as filing, doing expense reports and POs, copying, faxing, etc. I was also responsible for prepping client meetings, greeting guests, answering phones, and operating a multi-line switchboard manually and electronically. I monitored and update schedules for all employees on a daily basis while I scheduled meetings, arranged catering and client gifts and arranged delivery art and other materials via a variety of shipping and courier services.

My duties expounded over time to include general research for various projects, travel arrangements, award entries, trafficking new jobs, and ordering office supplies biweekly.

After giving a presentation on the corporate apartment options in the downtown area, I became the manager for the company's first and built a streamlined web-based reservation system.

I assisted the senior project managers and account executives as needed. My performance was evaluated on four key areas: strong relationships; effective workflow management; attention to detail/accuracy of the work; and most importantly assisting in the creation of killer creative genius.

In addition to that I served as the office assistant and receptionist with responsibilities that included answering telephones, greeting visitors, proofing, typing, scheduling, ordering office supplies, researching projects as needed, etc.
