Profit center management role with real estate investment company. Manage all aspects of sales and operations for a 300-unit, $29M apartment complex. Responsible for setting and achieving sales and leasing goals, retaining and renewing current residents, leading maintenance and groundskeeping teams, and performing credit underwriting approval for new residents. Ultimately responsible for producing a profitable property for highest return on investment.

Managed all aspects of business analysis, merchandising, and staffing, with heavy emphasis on training and developing staff of sales professionals. Partnered with buying office continually to ensure our merchandise assortment was edited to the needs of our clientele.

$6.5M total annual volume. Managed staff of 10 commission associates and one assistant manager. Grew total handbag business by 10.5% during first year. Cultivated an environment of superior customer service by “coaching up or coaching out” a previously mediocre sales staff. Worked with buying team to add multiple new vendor resources to total assortment, and earned title of “Best Competitive Landscape Awareness” in company.

Acquired seven new handbag vendors, including one vendor that became 20% of our total handbag volume. Increased accessories business to have #1 comp increase in the company when I transferred. Managed staff of commission sales associates, coaching them daily to build stronger client relationships.
Managed five South Florida locations ranging in sales volume from $3M to $15M, with up to 120 people on staff at some locations. Recruited and hired 14 managers; coordinated payroll and scheduling; performed all HR tasks at store level; executed visual floor sets and trained management staff on visual updates and standards, interviewing and hiring, and stockroom organization and efficiency; consistently exceeded LY goals and sales plan goals at all stores, increasing one store's YTD sales volume from $4.3M to $5M.
Promoted from Co-Manager to Store Manager in three months. Managed payroll and human relations for staff of approx. 25 plus assistant management team, planned and executed weekly visual updates, trained and developed management team, recruited management candidates, interviewed and hired associates and managers, drove sales to meet sales goals and provide excellent customer service, increased UPT by 15%.
District Visual Manager (Victoria's Secret). Planned and executed floor updates per Brand Guide for five San Diego district stores, trained store management on visual standards, drafted floor maps for updates, used merchandise sell-through reports to determine best real estate placement of new goods; visual setup of five new stores in Western US region.
Assistant Manager (The Limited). Trained staff on sales skills, wardrobing, and clienteling; top sales performer in company sales contest, hired and trained new associates, executed floor sets and merchandised new shipment, assisted in scheduling and inventory.
