VIDEO: Why Serenity & Rose Quartz as the PANTONE Color of the Year 2016? Why two? Why now?

Conceptualized video to be included in launch of PANTONE's Color of the Year 2016, PANTONE 15-3919 Serenity and PANTONE 13-1520 Rose Quartz, a harmonious pairing of complementary shades. As people seek relief from the stress and turmoil of modern day life, we saw the need for new comforting shades. This video shows why and how.

Launched PANTONE Color of the Year 2016 Serenity & Rose Quartz

I led the PANTONE Color of the Year 2016 launch to great success. The potentially controversial decision to feature two colors, and two colors that carried gender stereotypes, presented challenges to the organization. I strategized the dual messaging, video content, and new content partners, such as graffiti artists, to diversify the launch. This approach led to the biggest launch in Pantone’s history based on media impressions, social engagement and e-commerce activity.
