Senior Advancement Officer at Loyola University Chicago
-Identify, engage, solicit and steward corporations and foundations for the purpose of securing funding for Loyola University Chicago in excess of $25,000.
-Assist with the overall strategy development and budgetary planning of the Corporate and Foundation Relations program.
-Active prospecting for major corporate and foundation funders.
-Analyze Corporate and Foundation funding sources and match their interests with appropriate University initiatives and programs.
-Management of Donor records and activity in donor management database.
Completion and submission of all grants to community, corporate, family and other private foundations. Provide leadership to develop and manage effective, innovative strategies to increase participation of these donors. Collaborate with the Director of Special Events to to assure the most effective approach to corporate solicitation is implemented so sponsorship and philanthropy solicitations are complimentary.
Maintain accurate data records on all grantors including detailed electronic notes on converations, moves and outcomes. Prepare grant reports and manage a system to ensure reports are completed with input from appropriate program staff.
The ARCW Private Grant Writer is responsible for assiting in the raising of over $900,000 in private support. ARCW is a full service statewide HIV health care clinic and AIDS service organization with 150 employees and an annual budget exceeding $30 million. ARCW is Wisconsin's largest provider of HIV prevention, care and treatment and is at the forefront of HIV medical, dental, behavioral health/wellness and social services.
