After studying BSc Occupational Therapy, I realised focusing on the treatment of injury would only assist the individual who was being rehabilitated, not address the root cause of the problem. This prompted my study in Health and Safety, with the aim of mitigating risks in the workplace to prevent injury and illness before they occur.
